Despite most people believing that the Porsche Taycan will be coming in to compete with the Tesla Model S, Porsche had made it clear that the Tesla Model S is not the benchmark for their Taycan. So what is the Tesla Model S doing besides the Taycan?
Electrek posted a new spy image showing the Porsche Taycan prototypes getting testing along the Tesla Model S. Since the vehicles were spotted near the top of Stelvio Pass, it is highly likely that the vehicle is being put through an energy consumption test, elevation, and regenerative braking test.
There is not a whole lot of details about the Taycan right now but Porsche did say that the EV will be able to go from 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds. Although it is a full EV model, Porsche wants to make sure that the vehicle still feels like the Porsche when it arrives.
