2019 Camaro SS front fascia features a “flowtie” open bowtie grille emblem and aero-enhancing air curtains, plus specific headlamps with new LED signature and extractor-style hood.

With Ford already making it clear that the Mustang will be getting a hybrid engine in the future, it was only a matter of time before Chevrolet joins in.

According to Motor Authority, GM is surveying customers about potential engines for their Chevrolet Camaro. The screenshot of the survey showed that GM could be considering a new 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine or any two other hybrid engine.

The survey also stated that the turbocharged engine will be offering about 310hp that will allow the vehicle to go from 0-60mph in 5.2 seconds. As for the hybrid option, the first is the 2.0-liter four-cylinder hybrid engine that will be offering about 365hp and the other is a 6.2-liter V8 hybrid engine that will be offering about 455hp.

Of course, this is far from a confirmation but it made sense that GM would want to work on something to take on the Mustang Hybrid when it does arrive.
