We were all expecting to see the 2019 Nissan Maxima make its first appearance at the LA Auto Show but it looks like Nissan did not want to wait any longer as they reveal their new Nissan Maxima online.
Looking at the images, it is clear that Nissan wanted to keep the previous design around for a little longer. While some changes were made to the exterior, the changes were not that major. The headlights have been updated to a fully LED-lit unit. They also updated the grille.
The 2019 model will be fitted with the Safety Shield 360 from Nissan that come with safety features like blind spot warning, rear automatic emergency braking, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beam headlights and more.
It is speculated that the vehicle could be fitted with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that will be offering about 300hp and will be mated to a CVT transmission.
Nissan also announce that the 2019 Nissan Maxima will be heading to the LA Auto Show as well.
