While BMW has not officially shown off the BMW 8-Series Convertible, the vehicle has been spotted and leaked enough that do have a clear picture of what the vehicle will have to offer.
The latest leak was a set of official photos released by Belgian website Autotijn who broke the embargo and release the images before time. The original plan for BMW was to debut the vehicle at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The vehicle seen in the leaked images is the M850i xDrive model which will come powered by a 4.4 liter twin-turbo gasoline V8 engine that will be mated to an eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. The convertible will be offering about 523hp and 553lb ft of torque which will allow it to go from 0-62mph in 4 seconds.
Even with all that power, the convertible model will be electronically limited to 155mph and will be officially unveiled in late November.
